The Village Hall provides accommodation for a wide range of uers including the Willington Players, Dog Training, Slimming World, Willington Arts & Crafts Group, the Women's Institute and Willington Arts Festival.
Accommodation comprises a main hall with small stage, a kitchen, two meeting rooms and toilets. It has parking hardstand for eleven cars as well as extensive grass area for additional parking or outdoor activities.
The current building was erected in 1952, and along with minor additions in the 70's and a more recent updating (including new kitchen, disabled toilets and second meeting room) it will continue to provide for the needs of the village community for many years.
However as the village grows so do the demands on the village hall and we are looking towards further improvements that will both improve the performance space and provide further meeting/activity space which will help make the hall a true multifunctional space to serve the needs of the growing community.
